WordPress is putting us out of job!

WordPress installation is so EASY that we will probably soon be out of job. In fact even the upgrade has became one-click with version 2.7 on. Simply click to upgrade WordPress itself or the plugins.

Honestly, no one had asked us to install WordPress. That is certainly a testimony that the Famous 5 Minute Installation is living up to their claim.

In fact, since it is so easy we are going to install WordPress for FREE if you just quote FREEWP when you ask for an installation of WordPress. The treat is on us. Just doing our part to promote this great software.

Hats off to the work the WordPress team is doing. If all software is like that, we are out of job. Fortunately for us, many software hasn’t get it yet.

    Wordpress is easy to install.

    But how many people know how to install ANY script, no matter how easy it is? I see people’s eye glaze over when I start to show them what to do when they ask me for help.

    You start by mentioning FTP and file permissions and within seconds they are asking me how much it would cost for me to do it for them. As an installer of Wordpress, you will never be out of a job, unless you choose to. The market is WIDE OPEN for installation of blogs because of the customization that almost everyone requests.

    I get many of my clients from self installations that went horribly wrong because they did not follow one single step. Or worse, they used the one click installation and someone hacked their website within 24 hours of the installation because they didn’t think to use a strong password.

    Offering a discount is a good idea, but you are hurting yourself by offering it for free. If you have a strong backend to your business, however, then your offer is a very good one.

    Well Michael, if you have too many people asking you for install, you can always let us help you. :)

    It is true that there will still be people who are stumbled at how to install WordPress.
